Absolutely gorgeous handblown vintage cruet set. This set is a deep amber color with curving spouts. Pictures can't adequately capture how pretty the color is on this set of cruets. The glass is rather thin and delicate looking but I think they are very sturdy and well made. Both cruet bottles have deep pontil marks in the bottom. Very expensive to reproduce today. It is certainly Italian, in style, although I am not sure of it's age. *Our job is to find and target great art by collecting a vast array of contemporary, vintage, antique and collectible items from across the globe. A cruet / also called a caster, is a small flat-bottomed vessel with a narrow neck. Cruets often have an integral lip or spout, and may also have a handle. Unlike a small carafe, a cruet has a stopper or lid. Cruets are normally made from glass, ceramic, or stainless steel.
