Unusual grain painted Windsor bench, finely grain painted overall with arrowback spindles, (faux) bamboo legs, singleāboard poplar plank set, grape and grape leaf decoration with painted chrome yellow highlights, early paint over original pale green (?), drop front folds up to horizontal as bed or vertical as crib, Pennsylvania, 19th century, opens to 34 in. Generally excellent condition with normal abrasions, wear to paint, drop front drilled for two removable legs (lacking), one rear leg and two stretcher elements replaced.
