NICE ORTHODONT SKULL. 3 x 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Most of one side remaining, lower jaw, fragments of upper, and most of posterior cranium on the reverse. The cranium is at top, with the teeth and eye orbit at centre. Fossils appear as rock slowly forms around objects buried in mud. As the rock forms, the shape and anatomy of buried animals and plants can be preserved. You don't unearth this kind of archeological find every day!
