This is a sign numbered limited 1st edition book. Only 500 were printed. It's a hardcover 88 page book of photographs and commentary by the artist. All photos were taken on black & white film, the printing was done on linear press, not digital. It is a feel good book as it brings back the days when we had to make up our own games. It's a great gift or addition to your art book collection along with my other book, Real Woman, 40 & Beyond. Some of the old toys include, slinky, marbles,jacks, gyro scope, checkers, Chinese checkers, mobo toy horse, carousel horse,stick,baseball, baseball glove, roller skates,roller skate key,yoyo, bubble gum, Lincoln logs. lot of talk about the old days, the days of the 50's when we played hop scotch, hide and seek, tag. People feel good after reading it. It makes an excellent gift for as they say children of all ages.

An art book (or artbook) is a collection of leaves of paper, parchment, or other material, bound together along one edge within covers. An artbook is not a literary piece but is a collection of images and graphics. Artbooks are almost often collections of a given topic, be it of a genre like fine art photography, a movie, a television series, or a given artist. In recent years, artbooks have been increasing in popularity, serving as coffee table reading, or as promotional material for media such as anime series or movies.











I began shooting photographic art in the 1970's. I started the old toy collection in 1985. The images in the book are photographs I took of the old toys I played with. I shot all the photos on 4x5 B&W Kodak film, I did some in color as well. I decided to do a book after many exhibits & people felt it would be a good book to have I worked toward that goal starting in 2002. I designed it & laid it out along with my art director. This is what people who have purchased the book have said:Without exception, everyone who purchases this book or simply looks at it reacts the same way. They get up, excited and reminisce about their childhood, the games they played, they toys they played with whether they are included in this book or not. I am proud to have done this book that makes so many people feel up, filling them with Joy giving them the vehicle to return to the wonderful memories of years gone by.
