A magnificent and Important Work of craftsmanship. Japanese silver, copper and bronze rabbit in a strawberry patch, elaborately inlaid. Sculpture. Contributed to Kanazawa Doki Kaisha. In Meiji 10, (1877) Hasegawa Jyunya established Doki Kaisha (The Bronze Company) in Kanazawa with 50 traditional bronze artists including such important names as Hiraoka Chuzo, Mizuno Genroku and Yamakawa Koji. The focus of the company was the export of bronze works of art with a focus on the American Market. In 1882, the name was changed to Kanazawa Doki Kaisha. It was dissolved in Meiji 25, (1892).
